         FREE SURF LESSONS IN SOUTH FLORIDA FROM SURF WORLD

We now will require a signed waiver for each surfer or paddler at the lessons.  You can DOWNLOAD AND PRINT IT HERE. Waiver instructions, please print out the wavier and fill out each section by the stars. If you are bringing a minor fill out the bottom part too.

Sunday July25th

Surf Lessons start at 8:30 am till 10:00am

 
Lessons are canceled due to the tropical storm in the area.
 
One question we hear all the time is "Why do you do this?" 

We offer free surf lessons for several reasons: 1st is to help share our love of the sport of surfing, and to keep everyone safe at the beach, with knowledge about the ocean.

2nd It is our hope that once you take advantage of our free lessons you will patronize our shop for all your beach needs. Surf World carries so much more than just a rad selection of Surfboards and Stand Up Paddle Boards. We have Sunglasses, Bikinis, Sandals, complete Mens, Womens, and Kids sections, backpacks, travel needs and more. Surf World is a department store for the BEACH and beyond. Map to the Shop

 
Lessons start at 8:30 am. We meet under shelter #2 just north of the Pompano Beach Pier.  
 
We will update the site by Saturday afternoon letting you know if the lessons are On Schedule  or Canceled for Sunday. Please call the shop on Saturday to confirm the status of the lessons. (954) 545-SURF Some Reasons for having to cancel could include, very rough surf, sea pests, strong currents, lighting, ect. We try to run the lessons every Sunday if conditions permit.

 You can learn to surf. Surf World is offering free surf lessons every Sunday at 8:30am. The lessons take place on the North Side of Pompano Beach Pier. We welcome all age groups and abilities to come out and experience surfing. It doesn't matter if you are a first timer or someone who is looking for an advantage in contest surfing, we can help you get to the next level. First timers will learn to surf in a safe and encouraging environment. You will work with instructors who have been surfing over 25+ years and have taught thousands of people to SURF.

Surf World usually will have "SUP" Stand Up Paddle Board demos in addition to our regular surf lessons. Stand up paddle boarding is becoming very popular all over the world and is perfectly suited for South Florida.You can explore canals, cruise lakes and ride waves all on a stand up paddle board. We have the best prices on Paddles Board packages in South Florida. Come try out some different boards before you buy.

 

Paddle Boarding is super easy to learn. No Surf Experience Required. Come try this great core exercise and have fun on the water today.

  We take safety very seriously and give lessons on a beach with lifeguards. If you have your own board we encourage you to bring it, if you don't have your own board yet, we will provide one for you to use. When your ready to purchase one we can help you pick out the perfect size board for ability.
